Personalised song as a gift: services, prices and delivery times compared (2026)
Who writes a custom song for you, what you actually get for the money, and how long you wait. We compare the public offers from VocaGift, MelodiiLaComandă, Melodie Personalizată and the international platforms against the same criteria, with the check date and a link to each provider's own page.
The short answer
There is no universal winner — there are different ways to get a custom song:
- Fixed package, several versions — VocaGift (€12, four versions in two styles), MelodiiLaComandă (from €18.51, delivered by email within 24 hours).
- International platform with add-ons — GiftSong ($34.99 ≈ €31.38, but the MP3 is sold separately), Songoven ($34.99 ≈ €31.38, two versions, "within 1 hour").
- A real artist — Songfinch (from $179 ≈ €160.54). You pay a specific singer-songwriter, not an automated process.
How we compare
We take only published gift packages and sort them by five criteria: the type of process, the starting price and what it covers, what you actually receive (number of versions and the MP3), the stated turnaround, and who it suits. Where a provider publishes nothing, we write "not stated" — we do not treat it as "not included".
| Service | Type of process | Price | What you get | Stated turnaround |

| VocaGift | Automated online process, lyrics in 50+ languages (up to 3 in one song) | €12 one-offno subscription | 4 finished versions in 2 styles + MP3lyrics are generated free; audio unlocks after payment | Usually a few minutesno guaranteed fixed SLA |

| Melodie Personalizată | Online order, lyrics written by a team | 49.99–139.99 RON ≈ €9.35–€26.17price rises with delivery speed | 1 personalised song | up to 72 hours standard; 24 hours on Turbo |
| GiftSong | Online platform + free 60-second preview | $34.99 ≈ €31.38 one-offPro $46.99/mo and Platinum $219.99/yr are separate subscriptions | 1 song + personalised sharing pageMP3 is NOT included: add-on from $9 ≈ €8.07 | Not stated on the pricing page |
| Songoven | Online, automated | $34.99 ≈ €31.38 one-off | 2 different versionsMP3 — per the site's own description | "within 1 hour" — provider claim, not tested by us |
Conversion is indicative; your bank and any fees decide the final amount. The official offer always prevails.

FAQ
How much does a custom song gift cost?
Published offers start at roughly €9.35 (Melodie Personalizată, base package) and €12 (VocaGift), reach €18.51 (MelodiiLaComandă) and €31.38 (GiftSong, Songoven), while a real artist starts at €160.54. The gap is mostly about who sings: an automated process or a person.
Do four versions mean four different songs?
No. At VocaGift they are four finished variations of the same story in two styles — you keep the one that fits the occasion best.
Can I hear the song before paying?
At VocaGift you see the lyrics free, but the full audio unlocks after payment. GiftSong offers a 60-second preview. For the other providers we did not confirm a published way to hear your personal song before buying.
Will it sound right in my language?
VocaGift supports over 50 languages and up to 3 languages in one song. Mispronounced names get a free re-record. For the other providers, language support was not verified by us.
What if I don't like the result?
VocaGift offers a 100% guarantee: first a free re-record, then a full refund for a technical fault or dissatisfaction. Other providers' terms differ and must be read on each site.
No subscription. One-off payment, after you see the lyrics.
